Applications for a Lateral Transfer position for a Police Officer for qualified applicants with 2 consecutive years of full-time law enforcement experience in any Police Department with a law enforcement OPOTA certificate. The City of Highland Heights Police Department invites qualified applicants to apply for a lateral transfer position of Police Officer. Applicants can obtain applications for the position Monday, December 14, 2020 starting at 8:00 am at the Highland Heights Police Department or on the City of Highland Heights website at www.highlandhts.com.
A properly completed Employment Application Packet must be submitted in person to the Police Department at 5827 Highland Rd. Highland Heights, Ohio. Only the first 50 completed applications will be accepted. There will be a non-refundable $35.00 filing fee with application materials. No applications will be accepted after 4:30 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2021.
Minimum Qualifications for Positions: Copy of high school diploma or GED, with evidence of any higher education degree, and a valid Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Certificate.

Salary Range: $75,000 – 89,750; Benefits, Health Insurance, Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave
