Dog license renewal season has begun. From Dec. 1, 2019 until Jan. 31, 2020, dog owners are required to purchase a new license for each dog that they own and the dog must wear the license tag. Not only do dog tags help shelters and law enforcement find the owner of a lost dog, the money collected from sales of dog licenses funds the County Animal Shelter, which acts as the temporary home for lost and stray dogs. Dog licenses may be purchased online at www.cuyahogadogs.com, the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, the Cleveland Animal Protective League, Cleveland Animal Care & Control, or at participating Drug Mart and Pet Supplies Plus locations across Cuyahoga County.
