Residents were recently mailed a letter from NOPEC. The City of Highland Heights is a NOPEC community member. NOPEC negotiates natural gas supply rates for NOPEC community members. NOPEC is required by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) to send opt-out letters every 2 years to all residents and small businesses that qualify to participate in the NOPEC Natural Gas Aggregation. To remain a NOPEC customer, there is no further action required from you. If you want to opt-out of NOPEC, you will need to fill out the form that was included with your letter and return it by mail or fax by December 13th directly to NOPEC.
